Construction has started on the Legacy Senior Residences in Fort Collins Colorado.  This 72 unit community will provide housing for seniors who earn less than 60% of the area median income.  The legacy is an independent living community designed with accessibility and ease of use for its residents.  The Legacy will feature one and two bedroom apartments with fully equipped kitchens, laundry equipment is provided in each apartment, and the gas heat and electricity is paid.

The building includes elevators, wide hallways for easy access and handrails in the common areas.  There will be many common areas where residents can visit and enjoy the company of neighbors.  For those that relish the outdoors there are large covered patios that wrap around the first floor and lush native landscaping is being placed around the many walkways meandering around the grounds.
